Winemaker
Notes
Situated in the northern most part of Sonoma County, the
Alexander Valley provides a long growing season with the warm days
required for ripening world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2009
vintage was quite even tempered and allowed the grapes to develop
ripe fruit flavors and fine tannin structure. The grapes were
harvested in mid-October, fermented warm on skins, then pressed and
aged in barrels for nearly two years before blending and
bottling.
